By downloading, installing, or using Tour Expense Manager ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

Tour Expense Manager is a mobile application that allows users to:

  • Create and manage group tours
  • Track and split travel expenses among members
  • Settle balances between participants
  • Back up and restore data via Google Drive
  • View expense analytics and summaries

User Accounts

You may sign in using your Google account for backup and restore functionality. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials. The app does not store your Google password.

User Data

  • All expense data is stored locally on your device.
  • Backup data is stored in your personal Google Drive account in an app-specific folder.
  • You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the app.
  • The developer does not have access to your personal data or Google Drive contents.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
  • Use the app to store or transmit malicious content
  • Misrepresent your identity when using Google Sign-In

Advertisements

The app displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ad content is managed by Google and is not controlled by the developer. By using the app, you acknowledge that advertisements may appear during normal use.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The developer does not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Data Loss

While the app provides backup functionality via Google Drive, the developer is not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, accidental deletion, Google service disruptions, or any other cause. You are encouraged to maintain regular backups of your data.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted. Google Drive backups will remain in your Drive until you manually remove them.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
